Yesterday my girlfriend stopped by with a journal for me to write in. We have talked many times how I need to start journaling all the times God has shouted to me ..... You are on the right track. This is where you guys are suppose to be. I am in control. Relax. You have heard and listened and I will get you and Caleb together. Trust Me. Trust. Trust. Trust.......
I do trust but every time something takes a day or so longer to complete I get so frustrated that it is causing us that one more day or week in the end to get to him. So I open it and this is what she wrote
An invisible red thread connects those who
are destined to meet, regardless of time, place
or circumstance. The thread may stretch or
tangle, but it will never break!
-An ancient Chinese belief-
When I read it yesterday I thought oh that is cute then last night I opened and read it again and peace! We will get to you Caleb. It may not be in my timing because that would have been the day we found you but it will be in perfect timing, God's timing, and I may have to work hard to remember that but I do know I can always find peace in that.

I am trying to learn some facts and customs of China.
Here is some fun facts.
The color red is considered lucky in China
It is considered good luck for the gate to a house to face south.
Chinese calendar is based on the lunar cycle and is the oldest known calendar.
Unlike the English language that you can sound out words letter by letter, the Chinese language has over 20,000 characters. An average person learns around 5,000 of these in their lifetime. They learn them by looking at them and memorizing.
There is only one time zone in china.
Beijing is the Capital.
Only ONE time zone in China?!? That's amazing. The country is huge! I thought only having one time zone in this country (where I am) was stretching it. We are on the eastern side and it gets light EARLY - like by 4:15AM. Way too early for me. :-)
ReplyDeleteGod is good, all the time...all the time, God is good. Glad you enjoyed the journal!
