I800A........

Well we got confirmation that our I800A arrived at the USCIS!!!!!  So now we wait.   Wait to get an officer assigned to us and an appt. for our fingerprinting.  Once we get that back then we are able to finish putting our dossier together and send it off to China......ahhhhhh.....it is moving along!!!

So what is up with us around here......
This past week we took some time, like every year, and headed up north with my parents for some time fishing and playing in the sand......

Nathan could fish all day and night if you let him!

The girls LOVED playing in the wet, cold sand......Ana also enjoyed sticking her face in it and taking a big bite......I will never understand :)

The weather this year was freezing!!  It was some days in the 50s so no swimming.  Instead we went to the petting zoo and they had a blast!

There is a large bird house and Ana was in heaven......walking around signing bird.  It was very cute.

Finally we went to the lumberjack show.....yep that is what we do up in the north woods!!

It is so fun.  They log roll and have chopping contests and they kids get to also saw.

Great time but now back to reality!!!

  1. Looks a fun (but chilly) vacation. Not sure it is with the little ones eating sand though. Same problem here...

So wonderful to hear your I800A is there! Hopefully they process those faster than I600s...Praying!

  2. Hi, I have been following Ashley's blog and she mentioned that you are adopting a sweet little boy with DS too. I just wanted to let you know how excited I am for your family and that I will be praying for you. I hope that things move fast and you are able to get him home real soon. It looks like he will have a blast with your family on these outings.

  3. Carter's Mama just referred me here via her blog. Just want to let let you know I appreciate you stepping out in faith to adopt sweet Caleb! Truly "Jesus loves ALL the little children of the world." Thanks for letting him use you to demonstrate His love to Caleb -- for being His hands to hug him, His feet to traverse the journey of adoption as He did for us, and for being as His heart to give him that forever Love that every child should have. May God bless your journey and bring Caleb safely home soon!
